I've read two other books by this author and I love his sense of humor! In terms of humor, this book has it all..inappropriateness, irreverence, silliness, sarcasm and just plain awesomeness. The book isn't overly long and the story doesn't drag. The humor doesn't let up throughout the book. I can't wait to read more by this author!Product details

I was provided a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.
I've been sat at my desk giggling away to myself reading this book. I've been getting some right dirty looks but if it's funny, it's funny right? Who cares HA!
This book has not only managed to pull laughs out of me but there was a part of the book that reminded me of my favourite film of all time `Demolition Man'! Ooo not sure if I should of kept that to myself......
I LOVE Sherman Oakes, what a dude! With his waxing lyrical, drug & women loving ways. He really does crack me up & how if he's not being interrupted in the act he's unable to perform. Funny.
The book is written in 3rd person and the narrator also plays a part in the comedy value, the book offers.
A thoroughly enjoyable read if you're not looking for anything heavy.

I loved this book ! Took me a chapter or two to understand the rhythm of the writing. I saw some of the earlier comments about this book; I think the reviews come from a place of misunderstanding. The book itself was a pleasure to read.
If you like Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, you're going to LOVE this book. The poems scattered throughout the book are really cute and well written. The "strange" love triangle between the blood-thirsty President Gorlax and the poet Sherman Oakes had me giggling out loud. Don't want to give any spoilers away but when you're tired of the norm, and want something different, read this book. I can't wait to read another of Jason's books.

The writer couldn't keep his characters straight in places. By that, I don't mean that they all turned gay.
I did laugh a few times.
This was obviously written by an amateur and as such it might be unfair to judge it too harshly. It might be of some interest to someone for some reason, but as a piece of literature it's worth exactly what I got it for - nothing.
Good to read something new from Douglas Adams' great universe, but tried too hard to be hip and just comes off as vulgarity for no reason.
because I'd be really pissed if I had actually spent money on it. The book is not awful, just pedantic and really poorly written. Any similarities to Douglas Adams begins and ends with the mention of Sirius Cybernetics.
I gave it one star because it's just not a good book. However, had the writer actually used an editor to remove the preponderance of spelling and grammar errors, and redundant phrasing, I might have given it two stars.
Instead, I deleted it from my kindle to make room for something more worthy.
What a lousy and horrible knockoff of Douglas Adams. Stealing names from his books, apparently just to draw in fans of Adams. He writes poor and fragmented ideas, so badly broken into tiny sections that is it difficult to follow. Hurried and pointless ending that adds nothing to the story.
If you want to read crap, I will suggest a much better piece of literature the installation manual for a toilet.
